Nepali Congress Calls Central Committee Meeting

The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its Central Committee amid the ongoing Special General Convention.

According to a notice issued by Krishna Prasad Poudel, the Party’s Chief Secretary, the meeting will be held at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur, on Tuesday at 11:00 am.

The meeting will be attended by office bearers and central committee members, central working committee member, invited members and chairpersons from all seven provinces.

NC leaders are raising their voices to prevent the party from being divided, as the Special General Convention is being held under the leadership of two general secretaries, Gagan Thapa and Bishwoprakash Sharma.
