Nepal Taking on Samoa

Nepal is taking on Samoa in the final Super Six stage match of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia Pacific Qualifiers.

Nepal is facing Samoa for the first time in senior cricket at the Al Amerat ground in Muscat. Nepal, which is eyeing the championship with one more win, will lift the trophy as the top team in the championship if it beats Samoa. That will also give Nepal its first ICC trophy in 11 years.

The Pacific nation, on the other hand, has remained winless in the Super Six stage and wants to finish on a high. The Kiwi legend Ross Taylor inspired side will face Nepal in the match that is scheduled to begin at 4:15 NST.

Nepal, Oman, and the UAE have already qualified for the 2026 edition of the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be hosted jointly by India and Sri Lanka.
