Nepal Sets 201-Run target for UAE

Nepal has posted a 201-run target for UAE in ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 clash at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur after being bowled out for 200 in 48.2 overs.
Put into bat first, Nepal struggled for momentum against disciplined UAE bowling. Dipendra Singh Airee led the recovery with a fighting 75 off 90 balls, anchoring the innings after early setbacks.
Kushal Bhurtel contributed 24 off 25 balls, while Karan KC (22) and Basir Ahmad (20) added useful runs down the order.
For UAE, Junaid Siddique and Ajay Kumar starred with three wickets each, while Khuzaima Tanveer claimed two as Nepal’s batting lineup was kept under pressure throughout.
Chasing 201 for victory in 50 overs, UAE will look to start strongly, while Nepal will aim for early breakthroughs to defend their total.
