Nepal’s Tourism Bounces Back

A total of 128,443 tourists visited Nepal in October this year.

According to the latest data released by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), October which is one Nepal’s peak tourist seasons saw a remarkable flow of visitors from across the world.

The NTB report shows that 29 thousand and 60 tourists came from South Asia, 23 thousand and 127 from other Asian countries, 40 thousand and 500 from Europe, six thousand and 814 from Oceania, 16 thousand and 407 from America, three thousand and 548 from the Middle East, 443 from Africa and eight thousand and 444 from other countries to Nepal.

The NTB stated that a total of 943 thousand and 716 tourists visited Nepal from last January to October.

In October, 17 thousand and 298 tourists arrived in Nepal from India.

Similarly, 13 thousand and 286 from the United States, eight thousand and 718 from the United Kingdom, six thousand and 755 from China, six thousand and 366 from Germany and six thousand and 177 from Australia visited Nepal.

Similarly, five thousand and 535 tourists from Sri Lanka, five thousand and 45 from France, four thousand and 641 from Bangladesh and three thousand and 38 from Myanmar had visited Nepal in October.

Between January and October 2025, a total of 943,716 tourists visited Nepal which reflects steady growth in the country’s tourism sector.
