Nepal Lose to Sri Lanka by Three Wickets in Hong Kong Sixes

Nepal lost to Sri Lanka by three wickets in the Hong Kong Sixes Cricket Tournament underway in Hong Kong.

Sri Lanka chased down the Nepal’s target of 87 runs, losing three wickets in 3.4 overs. Dhananjay Lakshan top-scored 36 runs and Nimesh Vimukhi 33 undefeated.

Rupesh Singh from Nepal took two wickets, while Lokesh Bam claimed one.

After winning toss, Nepal opted to bat and was stopped to 86 runs for four wickets in six overs. Sandeep Jora made highest 39 runs, and Lokesh played for 31 runs both remaining not out.

Tharindu Ratnayake claimed two wickets, while Lahiru Samarkun and Lahiru Madushanka took one wicket each.

Nepal, have been defeated by Afghanistan in their first match and South Africa in second.

Nepal will face India today and UAE tomorrow. Two top ranked teams will play for bowl league final.
