Nepal Enters Quarterfinals of ACC U19 Women’s Premier Cup With Third Victory
Nepal has entered the quarterfinals of the ACC U‑19 Women’s Premier Cup, with the third consecutive victory to top Group D.
On Tuesday, Nepal crushed Hong Kong by 181 runs. Chasing Nepal’s strong target of 212, Hong Kong managed only 30 runs for 9 wickets in the full 20 overs.
For Nepal, captain Soni Pakhrin was outstanding, taking 4 wickets for just 4 runs in her 4 overs. Manisha Upadhyay claimed 2 wickets, while Krishma Gurung and Sinha Mahara picked up one each.
Earlier, batting first after losing the toss, Nepal posted 211 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Pakhrin led from the front with 90 runs off 60 balls, hitting 13 fours and a six. Sabitri Dhami added 52, and Alisha Yadav remained unbeaten on 23.

This was Nepal’s second‑highest total at U‑19 level, and the highest in the ongoing tournament. Previously, Nepal had scored 213 against Kuwait in the 2025 Women’s U‑19 T20 World Cup qualifiers.
For Hong Kong, Nimra Arab took 2 wickets, while Wong Wing and Aruj Fatima claimed one each.
Nepal had earlier defeated Qatar by 105 runs and Singapore by 151 runs in its first two matches.
