Nepal Beats Oman by 8 Wickets in ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifiers
Second Successive Win

Nepal secured its second consecutive victory in the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifiers. At the upper Mulpani Cricket Ground, Nepal defeated Oman by 8 wickets.
With two wins and 4 points from two matches, Nepal is in second place. Chasing a target of 118 runs set by Oman, Nepal reached it in just 14.3 overs, losing only 2 wickets. For Nepal, Niraj Kumar Yadav scored 46 runs, Sahil Patel made 43.
Oman’s Saumya Bhavin Sampath took both Nepali wickets. Earlier, Oman, batting first after losing the toss, managed to score 117 runs in 38 overs, losing all wickets. Jit Brajesh Shah was the highest scorer for Oman with 52 runs while player of the match Yuvaraj Khatri took five wickets for Nepal.
Nepal will now play Hong Kong in the third match on Wednesday.
