NC Special Convention: Election Schedule Announced to Choose New Leadership

The closed camp of Nepali Congress’s ongoing 2nd Special General Convention has published the schedule for the election to choose the party’s new leadership.

According to the published schedule, voting has been set for 9 PM Tuesday evening.

The schedule was released by the coordinator of the Election Committee, senior advocate Sitaram KC.

The preliminary voters’ list will be made public at 12:30PM. Claims and objections regarding voters’ list, along with discussions, have been allotted time until 1:30 PM.

The schedule states that the final voters’ list will be published at 4 PM, and the final list of candidates will be published at 8:45 PM.

The five-member Election Committee meeting has decided to move forward with the election process.

On the other hand, chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a Central Committee meeting, which has not yet started.
