NA Meeting Scheduled for Today

The meeting of the National Assembly is being held today at 1:15 p.m.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to take the floor to present the Annual Report of the Madhesi Commission for the Fiscal Year 2081/82 BS in the meeting.

In addition, Chairman of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Krishna Prasad Paudel, will share the Study Report on Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Water Resource Management in Madhes Province, 2083 with the assembly.

Today also sees four parliamentary committees convening.

As per the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Finance Committee, Women and Social Affairs Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, and the Public Account Committee are all holding meetings.

At 2:00p.m., the Audit Committee will address the complaints that have been received. Meanwhile, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee will discuss the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081 during their meeting at 11:00a.m..

The Women and Social Affairs Committee will also meet at 11:00a.m. to delve into cyber security issues.

The Finance Committee will continue its weekly discussion on the Bill to Amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 at 1:00p.m. (RSS)
