More than 6,700 Tourists from Third Countries Enter Nepal via Kakadbhitta

A total of 6,791 tourists from third countries entered Nepal in the past eight months through the eastern border in Kakadbhitta, Jhapa.

Chief of the Immigration Office in Kakadbhitta, Tulsi Bhattarai, shared that tourists from the USA, the UK, Bhutan and other countries arrived in Nepal in the first eight months of the current fiscal year. 

The number of tourists visiting Nepal from this border point has decreased this year compared to the last fiscal year. Altogether, 8,723 tourists from the third countries had entered Nepal through Kakadbhitta point.

The Immigration Office shared that 6,552 tourists from third countries left Nepal from the eastern border point by completing immigration processes.  

Likewise, more than 3,000 Nepalis, who were in foreign countries for study and other purposes, arrived home through the Kakadbhitta point from different countries during the review period. (RSS)
