Man Arrested for Manhandling Female Police Officer in Baneshwor

Police have arrested a person on the charge of manhandling a female police officer who was on duty at New Baneshwor in Kathmandu this afternoon.

Police confirmed that Raj Kathayat, 27, of Tatopani Rural Municipality-2 in Jumla district, currently living at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, was held for trashing the police officer.

Spokesperson at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dan Bahadur Thapa shared that Kathayat manhandled the female police officer when she requested him to cross the road through an overhead bridge.

“We arrested Kathayat for manhandling a female police officer. Investigation into the case was underway,” Thapa added. (RSS)
