Light Rain or Snow Expected in Gandaki Mountain Belt

Light rain or snowfall is likely in parts of the mountainous belt of Gandaki Province in central Nepal, the Weather Forecasting Division has reported.

Weather conditions across Nepal show partial cloud cover in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while other areas remain mostly clear.

According to the forecast, light rain or snow may occur at one or two locations in the mountainous parts of Gandaki Province tonight.

Cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, while other provinces will experience partly cloudy skies.

The division said during the afternoon, partial cloudiness will be seen in the hilly areas of Sudurpashchim as well as Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, with generally clear weather in the remaining regions.
