Kamirita’s 31st Mt. Everest Ascent Attempt

World Record holder Kami Rita Sherpa who has summited Mount Everest for the 30th time and twice in a single season multiple times is now on his way for his 31st ascent.

Kamirita aims to break his own previous record once again by reaching the summit for the 31st time this season.

He had surpassed his own record of 28 ascents in 2023 by successfully completing his 30th summit in 2024.

Sherpa shares to RSS that his Everest climbs are not about setting records, but rather part of his regular work.

This time, he is guiding a team from the Indian Army on the Everest expedition through Seven Summit Treks Pvt. Ltd.

Despite his achievements, Kami Rita Sherpa has emphasized that the government should pay more attention to the social security of climbers like him who risk their lives repeatedly by taking on such perilous journeys without hesitation.
