Int’l Nepali Literature Conference to Be Held in Colorado

The 9th edition of the International Nepali Literature Conference is set to take place from May 22 to 24 in Colorado, USA, in coordination of the Colorado chapter of the International Nepali Literary Society (ANESAS).

Around 125 writers, poets, journalists and literary figures from Nepal and several other countries, along with over 50 Nepali-language creators based in Colorado, are expected to participate.

The event will begin with a welcome dinner on May 22, followed by the formal inauguration on May 23, according to the organizer ANESAS.

The programme will feature panel discussions, literary debates and interactive sessions, including a major discussion on ‘History in Fiction and Fiction in History’ featuring prominent Nepali authors and journalists.

Furthermore, daily yoga sessions, poetry recitals, cultural performances and community presentations are scheduled, the organizers said.

The conference will conclude with the honouring of contributors and a tour of local cultural and historical sites.

Organizers said the event aims to promote Nepali language, literature and culture internationally and strengthen literary exchange within the Nepali diaspora. (RSS)
