Indian PM Modi Expresses Grief Over Losses in Rasuwa Floods

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep condolence over the the loss of lives and damages caused by the floods in Nepal’s Rasuwa, Bhotekoshi river on Wednesday.

During a phone conversation with the Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Modi expressed India’s solidarity with Nepal and assured possible support as needed.

Writing on social media, Modi said, “India is ready to provide all possible humanitarian assistance to Nepal. Our teams are coordinating closely on rescue and relief efforts.”
