Indian Ambassador Srivastava Pays Farewell Call on Foreign Minister Khanal

Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal on Wednesday.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar, where Minister Khanal congratulated Ambassador Srivastava on the successful completion of his tenure.

He praised the Ambassador’s role in deepening and diversifying Nepal–India relations.

Minister Khanal highlighted the significant progress made in energy cooperation, trade, infrastructure, and connectivity between the two countries, as well as the close ties between their peoples.

He expressed gratitude for India’s solidarity and swift support in search, rescue, and relief efforts following the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River.

Extending best wishes for Ambassador Srivastava’s future endeavors, Minister Khanal expressed confidence that he would continue to remain a good friend of Nepal.

Ambassador Srivastava, in turn, expressed deep appreciation for the cooperation and support he received from the Government of Nepal during his tenure.

He conveyed his belief that Nepal–India relations would continue to grow stronger and more prosperous in the days ahead.
