HoR Meeting Underway, Policy and Programs Likely to be Tabled for Decision

The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting is underway to discuss the policy and programs presented by the government.

The meeting will continue deliberations on the government’s annual policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 BS, which were presented by President Ramchandra Paudel during a joint sitting of the Federal Parliament held on Monday.

According to the agenda, the policies and programmes are likely to be tabled for a decision in today’s meeting.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is likely to furnish the queries pertaining to the policy and programs in today’s session.

Earlier on Tuesday, the lawmakers representing the respective parties had put forth their views on the policies and programmes.

The national budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 BS is also expected to be presented in the ongoing parliamentary session.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the National Assembly has also been scheduled for today, where discussions on the government’s policies and programmes are set to begin.
