HoR Meet: Lawmakers Demand Smooth Supply of Chemical Fertilizers
Members of the House of Representatives have demanded the government to provide chemical fertilizer to farmers on time as rice planting season has commenced.
During the urgent hour of today’s HoR meeting, Tahir Ali Bhat drew government’s attention to address the crisis of chemical fertilizer in different districts.

He shared, “Farmers face shortage of chemical fertilizer during rice planting season every year. We always raise this issue every year but the government does not listen. The government should put an end to ‘agro mafia’.”

Similarly, Yagya Bahadur Bogati urged the government to carryout search for missing Rewant Bista, 30, of Mangalsain municipality-5 in Achham, currently living in Kathmandu.
Though a complaint regarding missing of Bista has been filed at the police administration, no initiatives have been taken to search him, he added.
Bista has been missing since the past few days. Likewise, Sajida Khatun Siddique drew government’s attention on child rights protection while Rajendra Kumar Rai asked the government to make arrangement of chemical fertilizer for farmers.

Saying cybercrime is increasing in recent period, Ranju Neupane urged the government to make cyber bureau active.
Niscal Rai laid emphasis that the government should promote tea and betel nut farming, asking the government to provide the dues of dairy farmers.

Similarly, Kshitij Thebe pointed out the need of paying attention on management of people residing at Phungling bazaar and Suketar road section of Taplejung as the government has forwarded to remove the houses and huts constructed there.

Stating that an unidentified group had murdered wife of Dip Narayan Raut of Rautahat on Thursday, Mohammad Firdosh Alam demanded stern action against the guilty. (RSS)
