Hamas to Hand Over Bodies of Four Hostages, Including Nepali National Bipin Joshi

In a latest development, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that Hamas will hand over the bodies of four hostages, among them Nepali national Bipin Joshi, who was abducted during the October 7, 2023, attacks. The Times Of Israel quoting IDF says a Red Cross convoy is currently enroute to a designated handover site in southern Gaza to receive the bodies.
The caskets will then be transferred to IDF troops inside Gaza, where a brief ceremony led by a military rabbi will be held to honor the victims. For security reasons, sappers will examine the caskets before they are transported for identification.
The bodies of the civilian hostages will be taken to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv, while those of soldiers will be moved to the IDF’s Shura Camp.
Bipin Joshi, a young Nepali student, was among 17 Nepali nationals working in Israel under the “Learn and Earn” agricultural exchange program when Hamas launched its brutal assault on October 7. While some of his compatriots were rescued and others confirmed dead, Joshi had remained unaccounted for until now. (The Times Of Israel)
