Former PM Oli Casts Vote

Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has cast his vote at Mahendra Shanti Secondary School polling station in Balkot, Bhaktapur.

Oli, chairman of the CPN-UML, voted during the ongoing House of Representatives election being held across the country.

Although he voted in Bhaktapur, Oli is contesting the parliamentary election from Jhapa Constituency–5 in eastern Nepal.

Polling began early in the morning nationwide, with voters heading to polling stations to elect members of the lower house of Nepal’s Federal Parliament.
