Election Policeperson Dies after Falling from a Cliff

An election police official has died after falling from a cliff.

Fresh recruit Prakash Chand,32, of Dasharathchand Municipality 4 died in the incident, according to District Police Office Chief Deepak Kumar Rai.

The incident took place this morning when Chand fell from the cliff at a place called Kharakte Salleri while returning home after successfully completing the police training to serve in the upcoming March 5 election to the House of Representatives. (RSS)
