Development, Good Governance Committee Reviews its Annual Action Plan

The Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee under the National Assembly has reviewed its annual action plan.

Today’s meeting of the committee held under chairmanship of Committee Chair Krishna Prasad Paudel reviewed the activities carried out from July 17, 2025 to April 13, 2026, said Committee Secretary Dr Rojnath Pandey.

The meeting also approved the action plan in order to complete the remaining activities till the end of current fiscal year.

Decisions like forwarding pre-budget discussion and following up on the good governance agenda forwarded by the government to produce results were taken.

Similarly, the Committee took the decision to study whether the budget was implemented, as well as to develop action plan on monitoring, evaluation and decisions, added Pandey.

The meeting had focused 24 issues including budget, good governance and decision implementation. (RSS)
