Delhi Car Blast : Nine Dead, Probe Underway

A car explosion in India’s capital, Delhi, killed at least Nine people and injured many others.

The blast took place near the tourist destination, Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila, a 17th century monument that stands as a symbol of India’s independence.

According the international media reports, Delhi police have begun its investigation, but the cause of the blast is not yet known. The investigation is being carried out under various sections, including the anti terrorism law and explosive act, police said.

More than two dozens of people were injured in the incident.
