Canada and Bosnia-Herzegovina Share Points

Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina played out a 1-1 draw in their opening Group B match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 at Toronto Stadium on Friday.

Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead in the 21st minute through Jovo Lukic, who scored from close range to give his side a 1-0 advantage.

Canada equalised in the 78th minute when substitute Cyle Larin found the net after sustained pressure from the hosts.

Neither team was able to score a winner in the closing stages, and the match ended level with both sides earning a point.

Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina will play their second Group B matches on June 18. (Agencies)
