BRICS Nations Discuss Tourism Cooperation

A two-day BRICS Tourism Ministers’ Meeting is underway in Jaipur, India, under India’s BRICS Presidency, with Tourism Ministers and senior officials from member countries in attendance.

The first day of the meeting focused on strengthening tourism cooperation, improving connectivity and facilitating travel, with discussions also covering sustainable tourism, artificial intelligence, skilling and capacity building, tourism exchanges and seamless travel facilitation.

India’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat addressed the meeting, highlighting the need to promote AI in tourism, enhance skills and capacity, strengthen tourism exchanges and facilitate seamless travel among BRICS nations.
