Balendra Shah Making Leads in Jhapa-5

Balendra Shah, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections 2026 from Jhapa-5, is leading the initial vote tally.

According to the District Election Officer’s Office, Shah has secured 1,478 votes after 2,303 votes were counted.

KP Sharma Oli, Chair of the CPN (UML) and candidate from the constituency, has received 385 votes.
