Strait of Hormuz is Open for Business: Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Strait of Hormuz open for remaining period of ceasefire.
In a statement on X, Araghchi writes: “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through [the] Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.” He has clarified that the Strait of Hormuz is open for business.
The US President Donald Trump has extended a message of thanks to Iran via social media post. Earlier, the United States had imposed a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz. He has written on Truth Social, says, “Iran has just announced that the Strait of Iran is fully open and ready for full passage. Thank you.”
However, Iran stated that it has not heard from the US before the ceasefire ends.
The two-week Iran-US ceasefire is due to expire on 22 April.
