New Lawmakers Take the Oath of Office

Newly elected lawmakers have taken the oath of office today. The members of the House of Representatives were sworn in during a special ceremony held at the temporary parliament building in Singha Durbar.

The oath of office and secrecy was administered by the senior-most member of the Parliament, Arjun Nara Singh KC.

Among the MPs, 63 lawmakers took the oath in their mother tongues. They were present in their respective cultural attire during the ceremony.
