Snowfall at Pathibhara Temple Draws Pilgrims and Locals

Snowfall at the Pathibhara Temple area has attracted both pilgrims and local residents eager to enjoy snow activities.
The temple, a major religious site in Taplejung district , a mountainous district in eastern Nepal experienced snowfall starting Friday evening following rainfall.
Rajendra Mahat, an employee of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, said the region had been cloudy for several days.
With this latest snowfall, Pathibhara has seen snow five times this year.
The snowfall has also caused temperatures to drop across Taplejung, with residents reporting snow in the higher northern parts of the district as well.
