Rain, Snowfall Bring Relief to Bajura Farmers

The highland in Bajura district has received rain coupled with snowfall since last night. The upper part of the district has witnessed snowfall for the second time in the past one and a half months.

Snowfall has occurred in the highland of Badimalika, Budhiganga, Triveni, Budhinanda, Himali, Khaptad Chhededaha, Gaumul, Swamikartik and Jagannath.

The farmers in the villages have expressed happiness hoping for good agricultural production after the rain and snowfall. The Chief of Agriculture Knowledge Centre, Jasiram Sahani, said that the production of winter crops could grow after the rain and snowfall. (RSS)
