Journalist Manandhar Passes Away

Journalist and litterateur Suresh Kiran Manandhar has passed away.
Manandhar, 59, who also served as a member of the Language Commission, suffered a heart attack on Monday and was rushed to the Manmohan Cardiac Center at the Teaching Hospital.
Doctors declared him dead shortly after he was taken to the hospital.
Manandhar had entered the field of journalism during the Panchayat era through the Nepal Bhasa weekly Inap.
He later worked for three decades as the editor of Nepal Bhasa Times.
Manandhar was also regarded as a modern poet in Nepal Bhasa, and a collection of his poems has been published.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
