RSP Heading to Two-Third Majority

Vote counting from Thursday’s House of Representatives elections in Nepal has brought a major shift in the political landscape, with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) dominating the results is poised for a clear majority.
According to the latest update, the RSP has secured 113 seats and is leading in 11 constituencies as vote counting continues across the country.
The Nepali Congress has won 18 seats and is leading in 2 constituency.
Similarly, the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist CPN-UML) has secured 7 seats but is leading in 2 constituencies.
The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has won 6 seats and is leading in 1 constituency.
Meanwhile, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has won 1 seat, and an independent candidate has also secured victory.
Vote counting is still underway in several constituencies, and the final results are expected to be announced after the completion of counting nationwide.
