Basana Thapa Wins Dailekh-1 Seat for Congress

Basana Thapa of the Nepali Congress has been elected as the Member of Parliament from Dailekh-1.

According to the final results of Thursday’s election, Thapa secured 12,372 votes, defeating her closest rival, CPN (UML) candidate Rabindraraj Sharma, who received 11,796 votes.
