Dipendra Singh Airee Becomes 2nd Nepali to Score Half Century in T20 World Cup

Nepali batter Dipendra Singh Airee has become second Nepali cricketer to score a half-century in T20 World Cup.
Before him, Subas Khakurel had made a half-century in 2014, when Nepal first participated in T20 World Cup.
This marks Nepal’s third appearance in the World Cup. In the previous edition, no player managed to score 50 runs. Airee, however, scored 58 runs off 47 balls against the West Indies on Sunday.
Airee hit three sixes and three fours during his knock. Despite his half-century, Nepal lost to the West Indies by 9 wickets. With this defeat, Nepal’s journey in the World Cup has come to an end.
