Nepal Loses to India on Home Soil

Hosts Nepal suffered a 1–0 defeat to India in their opening match of the SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship at Pokhara Stadium on Saturday.

The match, played at the Pokhara Stadium, remained goalless in the first half before India took the lead in the second half.

Four countries are participating in the SAFF Women’s Football Championship, which is being held in Pokhara.

Earlier, Bangladesh opened the tournament with a dominant 12–0 win over Bhutan.
