Inquiry Commission Formed on Cooperative Irregularities

The government has formed an inquiry commission led by a former High Court judge to investigate irregularities in cooperatives.

A decision has been made to establish the “Inquiry Commission on Cooperative Irregularities, 2082” under the chairmanship of Binod Prasad Sharma.

Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel informed that Mohammad Safi Ullah has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

The government also stated that the government has decided to accept a grant of approximately 3.62 million US dollars from the World Environment Facility (WEF) through the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for the Human-Tiger Interrelationship Management Project in Nepal.
