Seven-Vehicle Collision in Bharatpur, Nepal Leaves 21 Injured

A multi-vehicle collision involving seven vehicles occurred on Saturday morning in Gaighat, Bharatpur Metropolitan City in south-central Nepal leaving 21 people injured. According to Deputy Superintendent Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office in Chitwan, the accident took place at around 7:30 AM local time.

The chain-reaction crash began when a truck traveling from Muglin to Narayanghat collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction. The impact triggered a pile-up involving five other vehicles, including an electric microbus, another passenger bus, a Bolero SUV and a car.

All 21 injured individuals are receiving medical treatment at local hospitals 13 at National City Hospital, four at Chitwan Medical College and four at Janata Care Hospital. Vehicular movement in the area has been disrupted.
