Flights Disrupted due to Bad Weather

Flights have been affected due to bad weather. Continuous rain and foggy conditions since Thursday have reduced visibility, which has impacted the flights. Buddha Air’s information officer Dipendra Karna said that flights to Pokhara, Bharatpur, and Tumlingtar have been affected due to low visibility. Similarly, mountain flights have also been suspended because of the inclement weather.

Currently, Buddha Air has been operating flights to Bhadrapur, Tumlingtar, Biratnagar, Rajbiraj, Janakpur, Simara, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, as well as to Varanasi and Kolkata in India.

Similarly, Yeti Airlines issued a notice today stating that flights may be delayed or rescheduled due to bad weather. Yeti Airlines has requested passengers to check the latest flight information on the airline’s website or mobile app before heading to the airport. Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula informed that the flight to Pokhara could not take off due to low visibility.

He also mentioned that flights to other destinations were delayed due to the bad weather. Passenger traffic has increased at Tribhuvan Airport due to the suspension of domestic flights. (RSS)
