Dr. Wagle Assigned Acting Prime Minster’s Responsibility

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has entrusted the responsibility of Acting Prime Minister to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle during his participation in the 81st session of United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.

Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to leave for New York, USA, this evening at 7 PM to participate in the General Assembly.

Before his departure, Prime Minister Shah recommended to President Ram Chandra Paudel that Finance Minister Wagle be assigned the role of Acting Prime Minister during his absence.

Based on this recommendation, President Paudel designated finance minister Dr. Wagle as Acting Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 24. He is scheduled to return Nepal on September 26
