Nvidia CEO, Huang, Contributes 10 Million USD to PM Disaster Relief Fund

Jensen Huang, the co-founder, president, and CEO of Nvidia, has announced a contribution of approximately 1.5 billion rupees (10 million US dollars) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, according to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle.

Nvidia is a prominent American technology company specializing in graphics processing units and artificial intelligence hardware. Expressing gratitude to Huang on behalf of the Government of Nepal, Finance Minister Wagle said that the assistance would be crucial for the relief and rescue of those affected by the Rasuwa-Bhotekoshi floods.

“On behalf of the Government of Nepal, I express heartfelt gratitude to Jensen Huang—founder, CEO, and President of Nvidia—for his contribution of 10 million US dollars to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the victims of the Rasuwa-Bhotekoshi floods,” he said.

Finance Minister Dr Wagle noted the significance of Huang’s contribution from a philanthropic point of view and expressed the confidence that it would inspire other individuals and organizations to contribute to assisting those affected by the disaster.

He stated that this support would further aid in the relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the disaster. (RSS)
