Flood Damage Blocks Kathmandu-Muglin Highway

A key highway linking Kathmandu with central and western Nepal has been completely blocked after floodwaters damaged the road at Krishnabhir in Dhading district.

Authorities have halted all traffic between Narayangadh, Muglin, Pokhara and Kathmandu.

Traffic had already been stopped earlier after renewed flooding was reported in the Bhotekoshi River.
