Rasuwa Floods: PM Shah Observes Flood-affected Areas (Photos)

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has observed flood-affected areas in Nuwakot on Thursday morning and met with affected people.

Prime Minister Shah left for Bidur, Nuwakot, at around 9:30 AM by road.

Infrastructure Minister Sunil Lamsal including governmental officials accompanied him.

The team visited affected sites, and spoke with locals residents and assessed the situation on the ground. They also held with local representatives and officials about the on-going response.

According to Nepal police, 277 bodies of victims have been recovered so far.

Massive flash floods struck several districts on Wednesday morning, sweeping away settlements and causing extensive damage to bridges, roads and other infrastructure.
