Rasuwa Floods: Five Districts on High Alert
Following the severe flood in Bhotekoshi, the Ministry of Home Affairs has urged caution in riverbank areas across five districts.
In a public notice, the ministry called for heightened vigilance along the banks of the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers.
Families residing in riverbank areas of Rasuwa, Dhading, Gorkha, Chitwan, and Nuwakot have been advised to move to safer locations.

The ministry has also requested that, if rescue or assistance is needed, people immediately call the toll‑free number 1234.
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has appealed to the public not to travel—or allow travel—on the Prithvi Highway, the Galchi–Nuwakot–Rasuwa–Syafrubesi road, and the Muglin–Narayangadh road, imposing a complete restriction on movement in those areas.
