PA Member Deuba Relieved of Post

Sudurpaschim Province Assembly member, Prakash Bahadur Deuba, has been relieved of his post.

Sudurpaschim PA Secretary Dev Bahadur Bogati shared that Deuba was relieved of post after he remained absent in province assembly meeting continuously more than 10 times without any notice. The action was taken as per the provision of the Constitution and Province Assembly Regulations.

Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari took the decision to relieve Deuba of his post on Tuesday. With this decision, a seat of Province Assembly member has turned vacant.

Few days after the September 8 and 9 GenZ movement in Nepal, Deuba fled to the US and has not returned since. (RSS)
