Nepal Embassy in Israel Begins Process to Return Bipin’s Body

The Embassy of Nepal in Israel has started the procedures to return Bipin Joshi’s body to Nepal. After the confirmation of the DNA test, officials have stated that they have begun the process of sending the body back to Nepal in collaboration with various authorities.
In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned that after Joshi’s body was handed over to Israel through the Red Cross on Monday, a representative from the Embassy visited the National Centre of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv for further confirmation. After that the Embassy began the process of sending his body to Nepal, coordinating with relevant authorities, according to the ministry.
Bipin was reportedly abducted by Hamas militants on October 10, 2023, from Kibbutz Alumim, an agricultural community in southern Israel. He had travelled to Israel under the “Learn and Earn” agricultural training program.
