Curfew Lifted in Rajbiraj and Bodebarsain, Prohibitory Order Enforced

The Saptari District Administration has replaced the curfew implemented in Rajbiraj and Bodebarsain municipalities with prohibitory orders.

According to Chief District Officer, Shyam Krishna Thapa, a meeting of the District Security Committee today took a decision to this effect.

The prohibitory order bans gatherings, assemblies, sit-ins, and demonstrations of more thafive people until further notice.

The DAO has urged the public not to violate the prohibitory order issued pursuant to Section 6(3A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS.

The citizens are appealed to remain patient and cooperative with the DAO in its efforts aimed at promoting peace, security and social harmony in the district.
