NA Members Appeal for Unity and Tolerance
National Assembly members have appealed to emphasize on religious and ethnic unity by maintaining social harmony in the country.
Speaking in urgent hour of today’s NA meeting, Ananda Prasad Dhungana stressed that all should join hands in national unity as religious conflict disrupts social harmony.
He urged the body concerned to immediately seek solution to Sunsari incident. Saying there is fraternity of all castes, communities and religions in the country, Puja Chaudhary pointed out the need to maintaining this unity.
Similarly, Jayanti Devi Rai and Roshni Meche opined that the government had to seek solutions of Sunsari incident on time being sensitive, demanding justice and compensation to victim families.
Likewise, Tul Prasad Bishwokarma appealed to all Nepalis to exercise restraint, not to involve in activities disrupting racial and religious violence as well as help maintain law and order in the country.
The government has to take necessary measures on time to stop spread communal conflict. (RSS)
