Programmes to Mark 213th Bhanu Jayanti on Monday

The 213th birth anniversary of adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya is being celebrated across the country tomorrow, Asar 29 (Monday). The national luminary Acharya is the pioneering poet of Nepali language.
The Bhanu Pratisthan, Kathmandu is organizing a street walk, morning rally and veneration programmes. Even a chariot procession is being held on the occasion.
Speaker DP Aryal will be the distinguished guest at the programme.
Similarly, Nepal Education Council and the Bhanu Secondary School are holding programmes to garland the statue of Bhanubhakta, while poet Bhuwan Hari Sigdel will be awarded at Lekhnath Sahitya Sadan.
Modern Kanya Campus located at Bhimsengola, Kathmandu is going a hold a literary event on the same occasion on Monday. (RSS)
