RSP General Convention: Candidacy Filing for Office Bearers since 6:30pm

The general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which has been going on here for five days, has entered the second round of election.

It has made public new election schedule, with candidacy filing for office bearers beginning from 6:30pm. It was to last for half an hour.

Chief of the central election commission of the party, Bhuvan Karki, informed that time for making public the first list of candidacies filed for office bearers was slated till 7:30pm. The claim and objection for the candidates will be presented till 8:00pm which follows investigation till 8:15pm.

The candidates are given time till 8:30pm if they want to withdraw nomination.

The final list will be published at 8:45pm, which follows the silence period till 9:15pm. The voting beginning from 9:15pm will continue for three hours as per the election schedule.

The vote count will continue from 12:15am to 1:15am, leading to result announcement shortly.
