HoR Committee to Carry out Onsite Visit of Juvenile Detention Centres, Old Age Homes

The Women and Social Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives is to carry out onsite visit of juvenile detention centres, service centres operated for women affected from violence and old age homes at different places of the country.

Today’s meeting of the committee decided to prepare a report incorporating the suggestions for necessary improvement after carrying out onsite visit, said Committee President Akriti Awasthi.

Similarly, Committee Secretary Indra Bilas Poudel shared that the committee would form three sub-committees and carry out onsite visit of such centres from June 24-28.
